The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Annual Fairfield Show of Wheels on June 14, 2008. There will be food and entertainment throughout the day. All entrants will receive a goody bag, a dash plaque, and a chance to win several door prizes. There are classes for Cars, Street Rods, Classic Trucks and Motorcycles. The cost is $15 per vehicle until June 1, 2008; $20 per vehicle after June 1, 2008. Come out and enjoy a day of fun for the entire family. The event is open and free to the public.

Freestone County and the city of Fairfield is gearing up the for the annual County Fair and Rodeo. The Fair and Rodeo last all week and will kick off Monday, June 16, 2008 with the parade through downtown to the Fairgrounds.
The parade features local and county dignitaries, fire trucks, police cars, and many decorated floats. It is sure to be a site you won't want to miss. The Fair features activities throughout each day and night of the week. What better way to kick off the summer than taking your family and friends to the Freestone County Fair. | 3.15.08 - Our Spring Sporting Clay Shoot was held March 15, 2008. We had 13 teams participate, and it was a great event for everyone. The Chamber will be hosting the Fall Sporting Clay Shoot on Oct. 18, 2008 and look forward to an even larger crowd. |
